This list contains projects that the science department at Dayspring feels are not grade level appropriate or do not meet the standards that have been set.  Not all prohibited projects may be listed, therefore we may still reject other ideas submitted.

 

1. Which brand of battery lasts the longest?

2. Which brand/color/etc... of popscile melts the fastest?

3. Which brand of popcorn pops best?

4. Which substance breaks down metal the fastest? (example: soda, lemon juice)

5. What type of water/liquid makes plants grow the fastest?

6. Which laundry detergent cleans best?

7. What color candle melts the fastest?

8. What soil is best for plants?

9. What food rots fastest or molds the fastest ? or ANY varient of this project.

10. What brand of diaper absorbs the best?

11. What brand of paper towel is most absorbent?

12. How do you make an egg float?

13. Any projects on human behavior that involve a small sample group.

14. Any projects that involve consumption of an energy drink.
